netFORUM on Drupal

Created to work like eMarketing templates from netFORUM, the netFORUM Dyamic Facade Nodes modules allows website builders to create content using data from netFORUM by specifying an object type and key. Built in help allows users to search for keys, and even allows users to search for the object type and key based on a copied and pasted URL from netFORUM.

Many of the default special fields in netFORUM such as {ApplicationPath} and {CurrentDate} are re-implemented as customizable fields. Website builders can also add in their own custom fields to use for commonly referenced things, such as URLs or product types.

The syntax also includes the same support for conditionals that eMarketing templates uses, such as {?evt_add_date==currentdate? *NEW ? old}

Child form and child form html tags are not enabled, but can be recreated using lists, similar to the List content type in the netFORUM CMS. Any details about the current page can be re-used in the lists, letting pages display not just the primary information, but also details found in child forms.

Crafty builders can use the template feature in conjunction with lists to make links that refer to other pages on the site, or create completely new pages when a user clicks on links using the {BeginLink} and {EndLink} tags.
